We created me2u marketing to help clients undertake a systematic approach to tap into and harness the power of word of mouth as a marketing technique.

 

Word of mouth is nothing new. It has been around as long as people have talked and listened. We've been using word of mouth techniques for years in marketing, public relations and public affairs. We formed me2u marketing to help clients use word of mouth in a systematic, sustainable way. We discovered we have been using word of mouth techniques in marketing, public relations and public affairs for a long time, but never quite in a systematic way. That’s why we formed me2u marketing to help with campaigns to sell consumer products, market business-to-business and advance public issues.

me2u marketing is a charter member of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), which helps us stay on top of best practices, new trends and mistakes to avoid.

Our team of professionals has won national awards for successful public relations campaigns and led communications for successful ballot measure campaigns. Our marketing efforts have produced results. Now our team has added an extra powerful punch to our arsenal – word of mouth marketing.

 

The me2u marketing team includes:

  • Tom Eiland, with 25 years of experience in consumer and business-to-business marketing, research, brand management and public affairs. A charter member of WOMMA, Tom heads our word of mouth team, bringing a sharp focus on targeting your audience, matching communications to your target audience and measuring results.

  • Erika Simms, who boasts a long list of public relations successes with companies such as Tillamook Cheese, Nike, Sunkist, Starbucks and Intel. An active member of the Public Relations Society of America, Erika knows how to get consumers excited and talking about products and how to get companies engaged in conversations about their products.

  • Pat McCormick, an award-winning communicator who is among the best in the business of translating research into effective key messages. Pat’s experience ranges from high technology to ballot measure campaigns, where he has used word of mouth techniques to build coalitions and move public opinion.

  • Gary Conkling, a former newspaper editor who remains active in public affairs, where integrity and word of mouth communications count for everything. A member of the American Marketing Association, Gary emphasizes 2-way conversations as the way to build trust and motivate trusted communicators.

  • Martina Lohman, has word of mouth experience working on a variety of consumer accounts including Tillamook Cheese and Wordstock literary festival. A member of her local Public Relation's Society of America Board of Directors, Martina uses unique tactics to assure WOM programs reach trusted communicators.
